Possibly the best £1.33 I’ve ever spent in Waitrose was on this delightful hyacinth, in a little, white ceramic pot.
I’d gone in for coffee and a pastry.
I came out with this lovely, simple little plant.
I photographed it against the most carefully curated lighting... the evening sun filtering through the cobwebbed window in my shed.
The shed was, for a couple of months, my temporary studio.
I could set up delightful (well I thought so) little tableaus.
I shot a little video in there about how I made elderflower gin.
You can still find it on my Instagram.
The shed is now full of desks and chairs, ready for our new office and studio on the Alscot Estate.
We will have a new exhibition there in June!
Photographed at home, Stratford upon Avon.
Fine Art Giclée Limited Edition Print on gorgeous textured Hahnemühle German Etching paper.
Available as a standard-sized 12x16" (305x406mm) print, which is what I print for exhibitions, or a 16"x24" (406x309mm) print which makes for a very large statement piece, once mounted.
